From Sherwood Park, Alberta, Meagan Kelly has aspired to be in Carleton’s journalism program since she job shadowed a reporter at 14 years old. Since then, she has reported for CBC Television in Edmonton and done freelance work. She is excited to go to Rwanda to become a better journalist, but also to learn from the best about her second passion: dancing.
