John Honderich, the former Publisher of the Toronto Star - Canada's largest circulation daily newspaper - made a visit to Rwanda recently and addressed journalism students at the National University of Rwanda at the invitation of the Rwanda Initiative. Mr. Honderich, who remains on the board of directors of the newspaper's parent company Torstar, and is chairman of the Torstar Voting Trust, spoke about is now the the challenge for newspapers in "bringing people together."
