Brian Jackson
Brian
has lived Aurora, Ont. — north of Toronto — since
the age of seven.
He recently completed his graduating year at
Carleton University in the Bachelor of Journalism program
with a double major in Mass Communications.
Brian has been actively involved with student
press during his time at Carleton.
For the last two years, he’s been the
managing editor of The Resin, the residence student
newspaper. Brian has also written for the National Research
Council, the Ottawa Sun, and for his hometown community
newspaper, The Era Banner. He’s had letters
printed in The Toronto Star and The Ottawa Citizen.
Brian spends his summers working at a youth
day camp. For the last two years he was a canoe instructor
there. He has also led canoe trips through the Muskoka area,
the Spanish River and the French River.
Brian is an avid Batman fan, and his other hobbies
include camping, photography, and jogging.
