Christopher Redmond

Christopher Redmond is an Ottawa-based filmmaker and a recent combined honours graduate in Journalism and Film Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ont.

As the founder of Perfect Day Productions, he has commissioned corporate videos for the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and created public service announcements broadcast nationally over CBC television.

Redmond is the former Vice-President of the Independent Filmmakers Cooperative of Ottawa (IFCO) and is currently working for the film preservation unit of Library and Archives Canada, after having worked with CBC Canada Now, Sound Venture Productions, the Ottawa-Gatineau Film and Television Development Corporation, the Summer Institute of Film and Television and the Canada Council of the Arts.

Previous directing credits include The Design of Humankind (2005), Citizens on Patrol (2002) and Awake and Dreaming (2001), as well as training from the Vancouver Film School.
