Support This Project

In order to sustain its journalism teaching partnership with the National University of Rwanda, Carleton University has sought and received outside support, notably from Foreign Affairs Canada and the International Development Research Centre. But in order for this project to grow, we need more support, both financial and material.

To improve the classroom teaching environment in Butare, we have gathered together some laptop computers and a data projector for use during this project. More such contributions would be welcomed.

The project could also benefit from teaching materials relevant to journalism instruction, such as current journalism and writing texts as well as notebooks, newspaper style guides and other instructional materials. If you would like to offer assistance, please contact The Rwanda Initiative at [email protected]
