Melissa Kent

Melissa Kent is an award-winning journalist who has worked for CBC Radio covering news and current affairs stories for a number of years.

Her career as a journalist began in 1998 working as a consumer reporter on CBC television in Montreal. A few years later she moved to the radio newsroom as a general assignment reporter.

Since then, Melissa has worked as a producer on several local, daily radio programs as well as the network show C'est La Vie.

Most recently, she was a producer and writer-broadcaster for Daybreak - CBC Radio's morning current affairs program in Montreal.

Her primary responsibilities include writing and presenting weekly documentaries for broadcast.
